New Homes
In the book when Okonkwo's family had to move they had to start from scratch rebuilding their homes. Today, moving can be as easy as bringing a suitcase from one house to another.
Outcasts and the Unwanted
In the book the church was discriminated against and no one liked them, therefore some clan members reacted with violence. Today people will use harsh words against people they do not enjoy, a less violent approach.
Weddings
In the book weddings were celebrated with many people dancing and singing all around. Today Weddings are different with longer ceremonies and more order.
Anger Decisions
In the book any disagreement ended with violence and, in extreme cases, death. Today if you are unhappy with someone you simply avoided contact with them in all aspects if the world.
Stealing from Others
In the book a passage talks about the importance of only taking from those who can defend what you are taking from them. Today people will only take from the helpless because they are easy targets.
